Two new course for 2019 where I am collaborating with two other fantastic trainers!

  • Alison Philipson (literacy consultant) and I have teamed up together to deliver a course for Maths and English subject leaders entitled: Linking Maths and English Learning Skills to Accelerate Children’s Progress. The first session of three is on the 7th February and the venue is at Dixon’s Marchbank Primary, Bradford.   •  Tim Bleazard (IT consultant) and I have created a course entitled: Evidencing the Development of Greater Depth Thinking in Mathematics by using the Outdoor Environment. The first of three sessions is on the 5th March and the venue is at the CIC in Bradford. I have run a range of successful courses during 2018-2019, which were held in a variety of venues: The Ellis Primary school, Barnsley; Eldwick Primary School, Bingley; Bowling Park Primary, Bradford; Riddlesden St. Mary’s, Keighley; Calverley C of E, Leeds and Sutton-in-Craven County Primary School, North Yorkshire. A course for year 6 teachers (three half days), to support them with preparation for the ‘high stakes’ statutory tests at the end of KS2 – four venues to choose from:

Developing Evidencing Mathematical Investigations is a course run over two afternoons during November, in conjunction with Tim Bleazard. It is aimed at Maths Subject Leaders but other teachers interested in children using IT to record mathematical findings are welcome to attend.

Keep your eyes peeled (that expression always makes me feel a bit queasy!) for advertising of other courses as the year progresses.
